The main London policeman, constable Nicholas Angel, was transferred from the city to the quiet village town of Sandford. He is trying to get used to this peaceful, and at first glance devoid of crime of life, as well as to the stupid partner Danny Batterman. However, a series of terrible incidents is amazing the town, forcing Eindla to make sure that Sandford is not at all what it seems at first glance.
