The psychological drama `Parisian` The legendary dumb film about the morals of high society, in which Charlie Chaplin demonstrated a whole set of new expressive means, completely unexpected for the cinema of that time. Critics really liked this film, but the audience in love with a little tramp reacted to him with a cool. Only after many years it became obvious that the genius of Chaplin spreads far beyond the image of the tramp Charlie. The film `Parisian`, directed against the hypocrisy and immorality of modern society, had a huge impact on many directors of the melodramas about the life of high world.
