In the spring of 1914, Europe is on the verge of war and no one has yet heard about German physics Albert Einstein. Meanwhile, the British astronomer Arthur Eddington realizes that Einstein`s theories can open up new ways to understanding time and space. Despite the threat of being declared by traitors, two men begin correspondence. The eclipse in Africa gives a chance to prove Einstein`s theory, and Eddington goes on a journey that will forever change the understanding of the universe.
