The film tells the story of the screenwriter Hudson Milbank. Hudson suffers from a disorder of self -awareness, that is, depersonalization - alienation of his own thoughts, emotions and actions. Not knowing how to put up with himself, he can’t get along with other people even more: he lives alone and watches TV all day. Almost nothing can help him, and only a girl opens a way for him to live in a world that he does not feel.
