A guy, a guy named Joe Tarner, working in one of the disguised departments in New York, is analyzing the Boulevard and Detective literature, in which “original techniques” are looking for. On the last pre-science working day, Terner, returning after a lunch break, is horrified to find the corpses of his 6 colleagues in the office. He calls the `emergency` phone to the CIA on duty. The authorities make him a meeting. But it turns out to be a trap. Only one thing remains Terner: at his own peril and risk to find out the reasons for the hunt arranged on him.
