The owner of the luxurious Chateau, households have long been locked up, releasing only on big family holidays. And yet he manages to carry wine from the family cellar and feast with the surrounding vagabonds. Meanwhile, his son Pierre, ashamed of aristocratic origin, is arranged by the dishwasher in the bar, falls in love, admits to robbery and gets into prison. The owner of the bar, meanwhile, is bankrupt, and Pierre`s beloved goes beyond the one who raped her.
