The Old Man
Shal
A small family - an old man, a daughter -in -law and grandson - leads an ordinary and unremarkable life in a distant steppe. They cannot quarrel, although their communication is very limited. They need to be able to forgive and be perspicacious, so as not to splash important truths along the road. It is important for them to live in love and it is important that the old man manages to convey to his grandson the main values of this life. The great steppe morality of the need to do good and not wait in response to gratitude, about a leisurely and absent -minded course of time without thirst for profit and wealth, about unpretentiousness and self -sufficiency, about the inextricable connection with the legendary nomadic past of its current heirs.
