The main character of the picture is the young cellist Daigo, who was left without work. Together with his wife, he moves from a metropolis to his native town in the province, where he was offered a job in a certain agency, as if a tourist one. However, it turns out that this is a funeral bureau, and Daigo has to wash the bodies of the dead, decorate them and prepare them to go to a better world. With great surprise, the hero understands that he copes with his new work very well.
