The action takes place in 1963 near Jokogama. The heroine, Umi Matsuzaki, is the father, the commander of the ship, dies during the Korean war 10 years ago, when she was still a little girl. While her mother is away, the girl has to take the farm, in particular, not to forget to raise flags every morning - the father put such a rule in order to see him from the sea at home. There is a school club in the town, with a variety of interest sections. The problem of this club is that they want to close it, especially since the building in which it is based has already been dilapidated. And then UMI, together with other school activists, should go to Tokyo to the sponsor of the school in order to save the house from destruction. Against the background of social activity, first love wakes up.
