The film is based on the real facts from the life of the boxer Rubin Carter, nicknamed `Hurricane`, the main contender for a medium -weight championship in June 1966. After the murder of three people in one of the Bars of New Jersey, he was accused of this terrible crime and sentenced to three lifelong prison terms.
