Mr. Grimsdale, the owner of the butcher`s shop in which Mr. Pitkin works, swallows his pocket clock during his robbery with fear. Pitkin calls an ambulance, and together with the orderlies he comes to the hospital, where the next series of funny and ridiculous adventures of Pitkin begins. His desire to please everyone, to catch everywhere, and also become a doctor, leads to such consequences that an exemplary city hospital turns into a crazy house.
