On the morning of the weekend of a large industrialist Bertrane Barnier, an uninvited guest wakes up. It turns out to be one of his employees, Christian Marten. The purpose of his visit is to ask for an increase in salary from 2 thousand francs to 6 thousand francs per month. Such a high salary needs him in order to ask his lover, accustomed to a comfortable life. After long bickering, threatening to go to the main competitor, Christian manages to force the excessive and dodgy Monsieur Barnier to fulfill his request and increase the salary of to 5.5 thousand francs per month. The guest, however, is in no hurry to leave. Literally immediately, he announces that his lover was Barnier`s daughter, and he has the honor to ask her hands.
