Kaze no tani no Naushika
Far future. Humanity, who has exploited nature recklessly for centuries, fell a victim of its pride. The Earth suffered a terrible ecological disaster. The once flourished industrial civilizations turned to dust. And the surface of the planet was covered by an endless forest, gigantic plants of which eject toxic disputes into the atmosphere. The surviving people have to live in the shadows of the forest and its monstrous insect -shaped inhabitants, trying to prevent the spread of harmful vegetation. The peaceful Valley of Vetrov is one of the kingdoms formed on the ruins of former states. The inhabitants of the valley adore their good ruler and his daughter Nasikayu, an unusual girl who is a common language with gigantic forest insects, strange creatures of a disturbed ecosystem.
