A few months after the murder of the daughter, Mildred Heis, criminals were never found. A desperate woman decides to a bold step, renting three billboards at the entrance to the city with a message to the authoritative head of the police, William Williubi. When the deputy sheriff, the infantile Mamenkin’s son with a tendency to violence, officer Dixon, the struggle between Mildred and the city authorities is also getting involved in the situation.
