In the alternative Los Angeles, you can’t meet someone-elves, orcs and even centaurs live side by side with people. The elves, however, are a little disdain to everyone else, so they arranged a separate area for themselves, where entrance only by passes. But people have to endure rude and prone to crimes of orcs, they prefer to settle in criminal ghetto. The patrol policeman Daryl Word is forced to work together with the Jacobi orc-policeman-that is still invisible. Somehow Daryl even grabbed a bullet because of his partner sluggishness, so he doesn’t trust him too much. Once their patrol arrives at the call and at the crime scene discoves several corpses, obvious traces of the use of magic, a witness, an elf and a certain artifact. Since now half a city begins to hunt for them, partners will have to revise the degree of trust in their relations.
