The young and extremely nice Dr. Edward, a graduate of Oxford, arrives at work in a psychiatric clinic where no one awaits him. His attention is immediately attracted by the beautiful Lady Mrs. Graves, who was here for the attempted murder of her husband tortured her. The director of the hospital uses the methods of treatment strange in the view of official medicine and even makes friendship with some patients. But soon Edward will have to understand that this is far from the most unusual thing that lurks in the walls of the hospital.
