Sarah had a cherished dream. This fragile girl from a small town madly wanted to become a famous ballerina. But life ordered otherwise, and Sarah had to abandon her dreams. Soon, the girl moves to her father in Chicago, to a dangerous “black” quarter. Sarah begins to go to a “dysfunctional” school, where the vast majority of students are African American. She meets a pleasant young man named Derek Reynolds and his beautiful sister. Together with new acquaintances, Sarah goes to the local disco. However, the ballet dies Sarah have no success here, and an experienced dancer Derek offers to teach a girl to all the wisdom of hip-hop. Sarah turned out to be an excellent student, but unexpectedly began to experience what the Americans call the "fever of the jungle." The girl`s teacher becomes her lover.
