An unemployed actor and the woman just dismissed from the service finds a lost dog and deliver her from Rome to Monte Carlo for a reward. But almost before their eyes, the hostess is killed by a dachshund. Frightened, they are trying to hide and find themselves the main suspects. Further, a noisy criminal intrigue involves another American pair and a gambling player into its rapid whirlpool.
