Madeleine, the energetic owner of the arts gallery from Chicago, had just married George - almost the perfect Frants of the southerner. When one day Madeleine has to go to Northern Carolina at work, George decides to introduce her to his family: an irritable mother Peg, a taciturn father Eugene, the eccentric brother of Johnny and his naive pregnant wife Ashley, who immediately comes into a sacred tremble from her glamorous daughter -in -law.
