A 14-year-old guy named Duncan Madge lives on a farm, trying to reconcile with his mother`s death. However, he does this in a very unusual way: he imitates her voice, her facial expressions, gestures, wears her things, even a fur coat, even sleeps in her. Edgar, his grief killed by a 60-year-old father, does not understand his son. Why can`t Duncan grieve like everyone else? What kind of inclinations are wake up in it? The father tries to return him to the normal direction so that he takes up the farm and follow in his footsteps. Meanwhile, his teenage neighbors do not understand him and humiliate him.
