The beauty of Maria was accused of killing a lover. Lipstick on a shirt, fingerprints on a pistol and perfumes on a pillow - all the evidence against it. And only the penetrating inspector Kluzo is sure - the girl is innocent. He frees her out of conclusion and tries to follow her. To the disappointment of the inspector, the murders continue, and each time the evidence again indicates Mary.
