What a Girl Wants
Daphne, a seventeen-year-old freedom-loving girl, goes from New York to England in search of her father, whom she never knew. Daddy, on the other hand, turns out to be a rich aristocrat and a famous politician. Now Daphne has to become his own in the great -leading environment of his father, plunging with his head in an endless series of bohemian techniques, shows of mod and parties. But the sweet life is overshadowed by many difficulties: Daphne will have to master all the subtleties of etiquette, establish relationships with a half -sister and, most importantly, to remain true to yourself and your ideals. And she brilliantly copes with the goal - with the resourcefulness and ingenuity that any young lady would envy.
