The story of Eric Lomax. During the Second World War, this British officer was captured by Japanese troops, as a result of which he passed all the horrors of military camps where he was tortured. In captivity, he was forced to participate in the construction of the railway. After the release, Lomax Lieutenant was made to the captains. Decades later, for a long time, a military man who dreamed of retaliation decided on reconciliation, for which he met with one of his tormentors on the bridge over the Kwai River.
