Romania, 1987. In the last years of the communist regime Nikolai Cheryscu. Students Otilia and Gabitsa are a hostel. Gabitsa is pregnant. Abortions are prohibited and are a criminal offense. Girlfriends hardly collect the amount necessary for illegal abortion. Otilia rents a room in a cheap hotel. In the afternoon, she has a meeting with a certain Mr. Bebe. Both girls have to go through such a test for the first time. Which of them will suffer more from this?
