The beginning of the XX century. Ireland is covered by unrest. Workers and peasants are conducting a desperate struggle for independence with the British units designed to suppress a rebellion in Ireland. A sense of duty and love for the Motherland encourage Damien to leave the successful career of the doctor and, together with his brother Teddy, enter into a fierce fight for freedom. After the first victories of the rebels, the British authorities come to the conclusion that it is time to stop bloodshed.
