Im Labyrinth des Schweigens
The film is dedicated to “Auschwitz processes”-under this name, German history included courts over the guards, overseers and other personnel of the Auschwitz (Aushwitz) concentration camp, who took place in Frankfurt in the 60s. The young prosecutor Johann Radmann discovers information that exposes the criminal activity of the former concentration camp staff. With the support of the Prosecutor General Fritz Bauer (real figure), he begins an investigation, as a result of which a whole “team” of camp executioners turned out to be in the dock. The main theme of the film is a conflict between those who want to forget the past in the name of national reconciliation in the conditions of the “economic miracle” and those who seek to establish justice.
