Muriel lives in a small resort town. Her main dream is to get married. True, there is one small problem: she never had a guy. Living in the world of fantasies, listening to the ABBA group and turning over glossy catalogs, Muriel vainly expects a wonderful prince who will come to her and take away from a rude father, moronic brothers, unceremonious friends and the suffocating atmosphere of the provincial resort. But the prince lingers somewhere, and Muriel himself goes to look for him among the bright lights of Sydney, towards the most exciting adventure of his life!
