After the explosion of Praxis, one of the Moon Kronos, which destroyed almost all the means of existence from the clinings, the confrontation between the federation and the Klinon Empire ended. The time has come for peace negotiations, but, as it turned out, not everyone wants peace - some are satisfied with the ongoing war. Kirk and his faithful crew, already “without five minutes of retired”, receive a secret task to conduct the first, preparatory round of peace negotiations with the Chancellor of the Klinon Empire. But the unexpected thing occurs - an attack was committed on the Klingon ship, the Chancellor was killed, negotiations are torn, and Enterprise is accused of this atrocity, and specifically captain Kirk and Dr. McCay.
