A man from a star flies to the ground for the only purpose: to find out what love is. He lands somewhere in the staff of Wisconsin and decides to take the appearance of the deceased husband of the modest widow Jenny Hayden. He learns from Jenny what love is, and he no longer wants to return to the ship. But his foreign-planets believe that, having left, a man from the star will die. In addition, the police are interested in the strange resurrection of her husband Jenny.
