The special agent of the detachment “Mission Impossible” Ethan Hunt and his colleagues are unfairly accused of involvement in the Kremlin explosion. The president initiates the “protocol phantom”, as a result of which the special forces are liquidated, and Ethan is left without any support. He intends to cleanse his good name and prevent a new attack, but he will have to do this along with the team of colleagues, whose true motives he does not fully know.
