In the small city of the province of Köngido, Mi-ja lives with the grandson-schoolboy. An eccentric and curious woman loves to take care of her appearance and wears hats painted with flowers, and bright clothes. It accidentally falls on the training courses in the local culture house. For the first time in his life, Mija writes a poem. She is looking for beauty in her usual environment, which she never paid much attention. It seems to her that now she finally noticed what she had just seen before, and was delighted. However, unexpected events make the woman realize that life is not as beautiful as she seemed to her.
