China, early 1970s. During the cultural revolution, the high school student Jing is one of many representatives of the “educated youth” sent to “re -education” to the village. There she meets geologist Sunya. Father Sunya holds a high military post. Father Jing is a political prisoner, her mother, by all means tries to make ends meet, performing hard work. Any mistake can even more jeopardize the future of her and her family. A complex environment does not interfere with the emergence of a timid, but very deep feeling between Jing and Sunn. But not all plans and dreams are destined to come true.
