The dramatic film adaptation of one of the most documentary evidence of the events of the Second World War is the diary of a thirteen -year -old Jewish girl, Anna Frank. Fleeing from the horrors of the Nazi persecution, Otto Frank, together with his wife and two daughters, Anna and Margot, have been hiding in the abandoned attic of one of the houses of Amsterdam for two years. Together with them, a shelter of a couple van Daan, their son Peter and dentist Mr. Dassel find a shelter in the attic. In her diary, Anna describes all the trials and hardships that the people around her are faced with, trying to lead a normal life in the close space of a tiny attic in a constant threat to be discovered by the Gestapo.
