The American doctor comes to French Pyrenees in order to pick up the remains of his son, who died in a storm at the very beginning of the pilgrimage along the path of St. Jacob (The Camino de Santiago). Movement by the deepest sadness and the desire to recognize the deceased son, with whom he had not had mutual understanding for a long time, he decides to go this way for his son, leaving his well -maintained measured life in California behind him.
