A luxurious liner sails out of Naples, on board whose passionate admirers of the opera escort to their homeland the ashes of the opera diva Edme Ts. Her numerous friends and fans are wandering around the deck, life seems beautiful. Along the way, the ship selects the victims of a shipwreck of Serbian refugees.
