Spouses Nadad and Simin decided to leave Iran in search of a better life. But at one point, Nadad still decides to stay next to his father, suffering from Alzheimer`s disease. Simin submits for divorce in the hope of leaving with their 11-year-old daughter, but the court decision is not in her favor. The daughter, meanwhile, hopes that mother will change his mind and return.
