The catastrophe that was collapsed to the ground called the “second blow” destroyed most of the humanity. After many years, who have gone to restore after this terrible disaster, mysterious creatures called angels unexpectedly attack humanity. A 14-year-old teenager, Ikari Shinji, receives from his father, who is the commander of the NERV secret military organization, an invitation to the Tokyo-3 fortress city. During the first attack of the Angel, when Shinji arrives in Tokyo-3-his father demands him to immediately begin the pilot of the Evangelion, a humanoid robot developed in secrecy mode. Shinji is scared and refuses to get into the car. But seeing that the only person capable of piloting it is seriously wounded by Ray Ayanami, Shinji agrees to take the pilot`s place.
