The owner of three large newspaper publishing houses Arthur Kennekat appeals to the private detective agency with a request to collect information about his young wife. The head of the agency, Mr. Brin, agrees to hide information from her husband about the woman’s random love connection, but in return requires her to information about her husband’s work. Having received a categorical refusal, Brin in anger kills Kennekat`s wife. Then, together with Colombo, he begins to investigate the crime.
