In a poor and dirty area, in a dull hut turned into a hospital, the doctor is taking patients. Once a young bully turned to him for help, wounded in a fight with local gangsters. The doctor discovers tuberculosis in his rebellious patient. And gradually, trying to gain trust, to appease the evil guy, he is attached to him, tries not only to cure, but also to save him from loneliness, despair, and drunkenness.
