An elderly woman gets in prison for women as a piano player. Four prisoners are recorded in the lessons, one of which hangs, the other nervous, the third is unremarkable, and the fourth possesses God`s gift to give out a magnificent sound from the usual piano. The teacher could not believe that such a finished person, rotting in four concrete walls, is capable of playing a joyful Negro music so excellently, despite all his hardships and a matter of killing. An elderly teacher sees her gift and gives her a helping hand, offering to develop talent and perform at some concerts of young composers.
