The film takes place in the 60s of the last century. The main character, a boy named Ben, lives with his parents, each of whom has a fad: his mother is crazy about the movie stars, and his father loves his boat and is engaged in its repair of every free minute. All this happens until a girl of Kessi, who survived in a car accident that ruined her parents, does not get into their house. The authorities want Kessi after a little recovery to be transferred to the custody of his grandmother. But Kessi persuades Ben to escape with her to Baltimore, where she lives an uncle with aunt. The film about friendship, mutual assistance and love, which the main characters have carried through their whole lives.
