Two friends - Enzo Molinari and Jacques Mayol - grew together on one of the Greek islands. Father Jacques, the diver, died in the collection of oysters due to a malfunction of diving equipment. Years pass, the boys have already grown and meet again after several years of separation. Both became divers to a depth without air, and the competition at the world championships is practically only between them.
