Ben Carson knew times and better. Already passed almost a year since the unbalanced detective was removed from work in the police department of New York for the murder of another special services employee, an accident that not only cost him work, but also aroused in him a craving for alcohol and aggressiveness, out of For what his wife and children moved away from him, and he himself found a refuge on the couch in his sister’s apartment in Queens. Having lost hope of returning to normal life and reunite with the family, Karson is hired by the night watchman of the burned ruins of the Mayflower department store. What was once a symbol of prosperity and luxury is now slowly collapsing in the dark, like a rotting ghost ship, ruined by a giant fire that absorbed many innocent lives.
