The Second World War, Japan is trying to continue the battle. Many understand the unsuccessfulness of these attempts, but try to convince themselves of the best. And against this background, we are represented by a family who, despite the surrounding poverty, does everything so as not to forget human values. The father of the family condemns the war and does not see anything good in it. He is looking forward to when the fourth child is born. But at one moment everything collapses. An atomic bomb was thrown into the city. Only the mother survives, but the gene is the eldest son in the family. From this moment on, all responsibility for the mother and the baby’s not yet born lays down on his shoulders.
