At first it seems that nothing will happen in this black and white ribbon, except that German journalist Philip Winter takes a couple more hundred “polaroid” pictures. He travels along the east coast of the United States to the rhythms of Chuck Berry in search of material, but the work does not glue. The first significant event takes place on the way home. Philip meets at the airport with the German Lisa and her daughter Alice. The flight is delayed, during the expectation the mother suddenly runs away, leaving a note about some grandmother who needs to be found in Europe. And Philip has no choice but to make a second journey - along his native continent, with a stranger’s child, in search of unknown to anyone, to the music of Can and Gustav Malera.
