The Terminal
The film tells the story of Viktor Navorski, who went to New York from Eastern Europe. While Victor flew on an airplane, a coup d`etat occurred in his homeland. Once at John Kennedy International Airport with a passport, he has no right to enter the United States and should spend his days and nights on benches at the release of 67, until the war in his native country ends. Weeks and months stretch, and Victor discovers that the small world of the terminal can be filled with absurdity, generosity, ambitions, entertainments, the desire to maintain its status, intuitive insight and even love for the charming stewardess of Amelia. Victor manages to conquer the sympathies of all, except for one person - an official of the airport Frank Dixon, who considers him a bureaucratic mistake, a problem that he cannot control, but which is eager to get rid of.
