B. Kiton is a movie mechanic who dreams of being a famous detective, like Sherlock Holmes. In love with a beautiful girl, he gives her chocolate and ring, but another fan also competes for her attention. The movie mechanic unsuccessfully tries to track down his opponent, an insidious type, who stole a watch from the girl’s house and, laying them, bought her a huge box of sweets. Falively accused of a crime of a girl’s family, who was grief, Kiton falls asleep at work during a film demonstration. He dreams that he “enters” into the screen and interacts with the characters of the film - now playing the situation with stolen jewelry. The film here acts as a detective - `Sherlock Jr.`, who, investigating the crime, falls into many comedic situations.
