Oscar Wilde`s wit and bright talent became widely known after the publication of his novel `Portrait of Dorian Gray`. Wilde, quite pleased with his life, enjoyed the fruits of success, until one event was a turning point for him. Once he was represented by the beautiful and young Lord Alfred Douglas, nicknamed `Boos`, whose insolence and mind fascinated Oscar. This acquaintance grew into a passionate dependence, which completely absorbed and, ultimately, destroyed his life.
