This is a film about the tragic fate of Reynald Arenas - the stars of Cuban poetry, the hopes of the Cuban Revolution, the favorite of Fidel Castro, who turned out to be a homosexual and, among other similar ones, sent from the island of Liberty. But even in Free America, Arenas remained outside of society, because he refused to play political games and be friends with a local gay test.
