The film is based on the novel by the famous writer John Faulza. This story happened in the 19th century in England. Charles Smithson, a rich and young biologist, was engaged to a girl. Sarah Wudraff is a fallen woman rejected by everyone. A man from the high world and a woman expelled from him. What can bring these people together? Only suddenly flashing passion ... But Sarah throws Charles. In parallel with this, another story develops. Anna and Mike, young actors playing Sarah and Charles, are so accustomed to their roles that they do not notice how the characters begin to change their own destinies.
